About the Broker:  Helen Scott, president and CEO of Helen Scott Realty Inc., is a licensed REALTOR® and has served the southern Summit County area since 1963. She has helped 3 generations of families find their dream home. Realizing a home is the most important investment a family ever makes, Helen has given personal attention to their needs. She has become personal friends with many of her clients over the years. 

Helen was a 10 year member of the Summit County Planning Commission, member of the Summit County Building Board of Appeals, Served on the Board of Directors of the Akron Area Board of Realtors. She is also past president of both local and state of Women’s Council of Realtors along with a past president of the Home Builder’s Association of Greater Akron, and was named Builder of the Year in 1980. 

Helen has been very active over the years in the city of Barberton where she lived for many years. She served on the Barberton Strategic Planning Commission, the Design Review Board, the Barberton Citizen’s Hospital board of Directors, Secretary of Tuscora Park Company, and a past president of the Barberton Community Foundation. Helen also supports Barberton sports and schools, Barberton Magical Theater, and many other civic and community organizations. 

Helen has been married to Verne L. Scott since 1959, and is mother of 2 daughters, and has 4 grandchildren.
