Stark County Communities

Stark County, Ohio, with it's county seat at Canton, has a population of approximately 357,000 according to the 2010 census. 

The area has many national attractions such as the Pro Football Hall of Fame, the McKinley Presidential Library & Museum, National First Ladies Historical Site, and the many treasures of Ohio's Amish Country and the quaint shops of Hartville and Canal Fulton.

Stark County has beautiful parks, trails, lakes and campgrounds where you can hike, bike, canoe and more.  And, golfing is big here!  Stark County is known as "Ohio's Golf Capital" with 21 public golf courses, with some of the country's finest competitive courses that can accommodate a wide array of talents and tastes.

The Arts are also alive and well in Stark County.  Cultural activities include the Alliance Symphony Orchestra, Canton Ballet, Canton Comic Opera Company, Canton Museum of Art, Canton Symphony Orchestra, Carnation City Players, among many others.
